Rules
adopted March 18, 2011
IOR 1. A member of the Committee must not represent a lawyer in the
disciplinary matter (1) pending before the United States District Court for
the Eastern District of Louisiana,
(2) pending before any other court considering reciprocal discipline based
upon discipline imposed by the United States District Court for the Eastern
District of Louisiana.
IOR 2. The standards for recusal of a Committee member are identical
to those applicable to a United States District Judge.
IOR 3. The Committee must select a vice-chairperson who will chair
the committee when the chairperson is recused or unavailable.
