FEMA Hotel Relocation Assistance: Provides a list of participating hotels and a online application to confirm eligibility.  You may apply for immediate assistance whether you have already incurred hotel expenses in the aftermath of Ida, or if you are still without utilities at your residence and need a functional place to stay until your home is habitable.

If you applied for FEMA hotel assistance before Friday September 3rd, and your request was denied because you had renters or home owners insurance, the program has expanded and even those with insurance should now be eligible for this assistance program.  You are encouraged to resubmit an application for such assistance.
